Fellowships

Postdoctoral Fellowship

We support promising scientists to carry out research in all areas of theoretical or experimental atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) Physics in the form of Postdoctoral Fellowships.

The call for Postdoctoral Fellowships is closed. The Fellowships have been awarded to Dr. Matthew Frye and Dr Eng. Krzysztof Tyszka.

 

Visiting Fellowship

We support long-term scientific visits (2 weeks – 6 months, including sabbaticals) at the University of Warsaw to collaborate or teach in AMO Physics in the form of Distinguished Visiting Fellowships.

  • Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships
    “The objective of PFs is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. The Postdoctoral Fellowships action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers.”

  • The Ulam NAWA Programme
    “The aim of the Ulam Programme is to increase the internationalisation of Polish institutions of science and higher education. The Programme will allow both recognised and promising scientists who hold at least a doctoral degree, to visit Poland in order to strengthen the scientific potential of Polish entities and to participate in their scientific activities, primarily research projects and didactics.”

  • POLONEZ BIS
    POLONEZ BIS is a fellowship programme for experienced researchers, co-funded by the European Commission and the Polish National Science Centre under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant. In three calls to be announced in 2021 and 2022, the programme will recruit 120 scientists from all over the world. “
